Anara Skincare believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements.   

All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.

All Anara Skincare products have been formulated and manufactured in England, by a team of specialists, which include some of the most talented scientists and doctors. All Anara products have undergone independent testing, stability, compatibility, and compliance tests to UK and EU standards, which are renowned for being amongst the strictest in the world.

The term natural isn’t regulated in the world of beauty and products including as little as 1% organic ingredients can claim to be organic. As we believe in being honest and transparent, we wanted to let you know what natural and organic means to us.

Anara Skincare only uses the highest quality, plant-based ingredients from around the world. Between 99% to 100% of our ingredients are of natural origin and harness the beautiful and magical qualities that only nature can deliver. Due to the high content of natural origin ingredients in our products there could be some variations between the colour and scent of the batches, based on the highest quality harvest at the time of production.

When we started the formulation journey for our products, we took the decision not to apply for an official organic certification as this dramatically reduced the number of wonderful and effective natural origin ingredients we could use. We only use the highest quality ingredients in our products and where the organic version of the ingredient is available, we will always opt to include this. We have stated the percentage of organic ingredients in each product on our website and on our packaging and these range from 57% - 92.5%.

As safety is of utmost importance to us, where we do not feel that a natural origin preservative is appropriate for our products, we have chosen an effective, gentle, synthetic alternative to include instead. You can take comfort in knowing that you will never find any harsh or harmful ingredients in any Anara Skincare product.

Anara Skincare products are formulated to be a sensory experience and choosing the ingredients to give the most beautiful and uplifting scents was a journey of its own. You will never find any artificial fragrances in our products.

We use low levels of carefully selected, gentle essential oils within our range, which not only have wonderful skin care benefits, but they also give our products their beautiful, uplifting scents.

Anara Skincare is free from parabens, alcohol (ethanol), phenoxyethanol, petrochemicals, detergents (SLS/SLES), artificial fragrances, colourants, phthalates, silicones, hormone disrupting ingredients, ingredients that are deemed to be unsafe during pregnancy or any harsh chemicals or preservatives that are only deemed safe in small quantities but where cumulation could have negative effects.

Our products are designed to deliver hydration and are suitable for all skin types. We do not include any alcohol (ethanol) in any of our products as this can be drying and can be an irritant for some people.

The magical time of pregnancy is different for everyone, and we always recommend speaking to a medical practitioner if you have any questions of which ingredients are suitable to use during this time.

We have however been very mindful of pregnancy friendly ingredients during our formulation process. We have therefore chosen the gentlest essential oils and ingredients to be used within our products and ones which are believed to be safe during pregnancy.

As we get older our skincare needs can also change. Everyone’s skin is unique, but you could find your skin becomes drier or more sensitive to certain ingredients. Anara Skincare products have all been created to be suitable for sensitive skin and to deliver layers of comfort, hydration, and protection. Our products are also packed full of natural origin ingredients that are known to reduce the appearance of pigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles, resulting in firmer, radiant, more even skin tones.

Our products are all certified by the Vegan Society and approved as Cruelty Free under the Leaping Bunny Programme, and do not contain any alcohol (ethanol) and therefore are deemed to be Halal friendly.

All ingredients included in Anara Skincare products are Gluten-Free.
