When we started the journey of creating Anara Skincare we made a list of everything that was important to us and top of the list was transparency. The world of beauty can be so confusing and complicated with endless claims being made, and we wanted to simplify this. Our promise to you is that every step in the Anara process has and always will be filled with honesty and integrity.

Part of this process was getting official certifications in place. As a small start up brand this was a long and expensive process, but we had made the decision not to launch without the certifications so it is with the greatest pride that we share the following certifications and credentials with you. 

Certified by The Vegan Society

All Anara Skincare products are made using the highest quality plant-based ingredients. We are very proud to carry the Vegan trademark, the authentic international standard managed by the Vegan Society, the charity that created the word ‘vegan’ back in 1944.

Having this certification gives you the assurance that the development and manufacture of all Anara Skincare products are free from any animal product, by-product, derivative or from animal testing.

Approved as Cruelty Free under the Leaping Bunny Programme

Anara Skincare believes that beauty products should be cruelty free and therefore none of our products will ever be tested on animals. They will only ever be tested on the most willing humans!

We are very proud that all products in the Anara Skincare range are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and our suppliers are proactively and independently monitored to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria.

Natural & Organic

The term natural isn’t regulated in the world of beauty and products including as little as 1% organic ingredients can claim to be organic. As we believe in being honest and transparent, we wanted to let you know what natural and organic means to us.

Anara Skincare only uses the highest quality, plant-based ingredients from around the world. Between 99% to 100% of our ingredients are of natural origin and harness the beautiful and magical qualities that only nature can deliver. Due to the high content of natural origin ingredients in our products there could be some variations between the colour and scent of the batches, based on the highest quality harvest at the time of production.

When we started the formulation journey for our products, we took the decision not to apply for an official organic certification as this dramatically reduced the number of wonderful and effective natural origin ingredients we could use. We only use the highest quality ingredients in our products and where the organic version of the ingredient is available, we will always opt to include this. We have stated the percentage of organic ingredients in each product on our website and on our packaging and these range from 57% - 92.5%.

As safety is of utmost importance to us, where we do not feel that a natural origin preservative is appropriate for our products, we have chosen an effective, gentle, synthetic alternative to include instead. You can take comfort in knowing that you will never find any harsh or harmful ingredients in any Anara Skincare product.
